Changsumeon Ilsa Ilchon Sisterhood Partnership
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, signed a business agreement with Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital on the 23rd to promote the health of county residents and eliminate medical blind spots through the 'Improvement of Medical Accessibility for Medically Vulnerable Residents and Changsumeon Ilsa Ilschon Sisterhood Partnership.'
Yeongdeok-gun and Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital Signed a Medical Improvement Business Agreement.
The signing ceremony was attended by about 15 officials from both sides, including County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol, Director Kwon Tae-gyun of Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital, County Councilor Kim Seong-ho, Changsumeon Chief Choi Hee-chan, and Yeongdeok Health Center Director Kim Jae-hee.
Through this agreement, the two organizations aim to promote mutual development by providing on-site medical services for Yeongdeok residents and supporting capacity-building education for infectious disease response. Additionally, through the 'Changsumeon Ilsa Ilschon Sisterhood Partnership,' they will work together to improve the health of Changsumeon residents and revitalize the rural economy.
The medical accessibility improvement agreement for residents in medically vulnerable areas includes cooperation in promoting county policies to enhance medical services in vulnerable areas, active support for all necessary conditions for medical treatment in these areas, and collaboration on capacity-building support such as staff training for infectious disease response in Yeongdeok-gun. The Changsumeon Ilsa Ilschon sisterhood partnership agreement mainly covers support for medical services within the Changsumeon area and active support for operating direct sales markets for local agricultural specialties.
County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol stated, "Starting from this agreement, we will strive for professional and systematic infectious disease response through close cooperation with Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital, including various on-site medical volunteer services and support from excellent medical staff." He added, "Through the Changsumeon Ilsa Ilschon sisterhood partnership, we will do our best to ensure long-term exchanges that allow Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital and Changsumeon to grow and develop together."
