Silla University, Capacity Building Training for Indonesian Partner Companies

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The LINC 3.0 Project Group of Silla University and the Global Business Support Center have completed job competency enhancement training for employees of global industries.


This training was conducted as part of the global shared cooperation project, targeting 33 local mid-level managers of the Korean Small and Medium Business Association in Indonesia (KOSA).


The trainees completed various educational programs over a week starting with the opening ceremony on January 6, including ▲special lectures on strengthening industry-academia cooperation capabilities ▲visits to smart factory industrial complexes ▲and Korean cultural experiences.


Jung Hae-yong, head of the Global Business Support Center and the person responsible for the training, delivered various special lectures based on experiential knowledge about trends in Korean companies' global expansion and innovations in smart manufacturing and quality management.

Trainee representative Tuti Riu (TUTI RIU) said, “Through this training, I was able to deepen my understanding of the industry-academia cooperation system between universities and industries,” adding, “I was especially impressed by the factory automation of the smart factory system.”


Lee Beom-jin, head of the LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “This global industry employee training was the first project conducted after the signing of the global shared cooperation agreement between the LINC 3.0 project groups of four universities in the Busan area?Silla University, Dongmyung University, Dongseo University, and Dong-eui University?and KOSA last month,” and added, “We hope this training will be a signal to activate global shared cooperation.”
