[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that it held a preliminary inspection briefing session at the Dolmen Historic Site on the 8th to ensure the successful hosting of the 'Dolmen Festival with Spring Flowers.'

The 'Dolmen Festival with Spring Flowers' will be held from April 21 to 30.

At the briefing session, attended by about 100 people including Hwasun-gun council members, department heads, and residents, the county governor personally explained the report on the four-season festival and held a trial run of the exploration train, laying the foundation for a successful festival.

The county purchased 30,000 daffodils, 30,000 tulips, 70,000 Korean asters, and 187,500 marguerites in the first phase within the Dolmen Historic Site, creating various flower gardens to offer interesting sights.

Also, during the festival period, two exploration trains will be leased and operated on the 3km section from Dogok-myeon to Chunyang-myeon.

A county official said, "'The 2023 Dolmen Festival with Spring Flowers' will create the Hwasun Dolmen Historic Site, where flowers bloom all year round, and through various experiential programs, it will become a grand festival venue shared with the residents."

Meanwhile, the Hwasun Dolmen Historic Site, where festivals are held throughout the four seasons with various themes, is densely populated with 596 dolmens along a 3km forest and garden path, and was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in December 2000.
