[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The inauguration ceremony of the 10th Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government Employees' Labor Union was held on the 6th at the Gyeongnam Provincial Government main conference room.
According to the province, the 10th Provincial Government Labor Union elected Chairman Han Jinhee, Senior Vice Chairman Han Dongwoo, and Secretary-General Baek Inseok through the executive election last November, and officially began their term in January this year.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Governor Park Wansu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Council Kang Yongbeom, Chairman Kim Dongmyeong of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions, Chairman Kim Hyunjin of the Public Officials Labor Union Federation, executives of labor unions affiliated with the Public Officials Federation nationwide, executives of labor unions from cities, counties, public enterprises, and investment and donation institutions within the province, as well as about 400 union members.

Chairman Han said, "For the residents to be happy, the provincial government employees must be happy first," and requested, "Governor, please cooperate in eradicating wrong practices, establishing a horizontal organizational culture, and fair organizational management."
He continued, "The labor union will work together to realize the vision of the 8th elected administration: a vibrant Gyeongnam and happy residents," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that union members can be happy through proper activities that uphold the basics."
Governor Park said, "I am always ready to communicate for improving organizational culture through mutual respect," and stated, "I hope the labor union will cooperate to help the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government gain trust from the residents and become a rational organization."
