[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The thriller novel "Sipjado Murder Case" topped the January best audiobook chart on the audiobook service Willa Audiobook.
"Sipjado Murder Case" is a novel by author Yoon Ja-young, who won the Korea Mystery Literature Award, and it reached number one immediately after the audiobook was released.
In second place was "Free Food for Millionaires" by author Lee Min-jin. Following the first volume, the pre-serialization of the second volume began, securing the second spot.
The completed audio web novel also settled in the best rankings. "The Cradle of Sheep and Wolves," which recently concluded its first season by presenting the growth of a dark hero and a well-structured story, ranked fourth.
"Just Dawn," by writer Woo Ji-hye, known as a "romance master," recorded seventh place. "Wisdom to Win People," containing the brilliant insights and advice of Baltasar Graci?n, praised by Nietzsche and Schopenhauer as "Europe's greatest wisdom master," ranked ninth in the best list.
Other various works were also loved. The classics "Zorba the Greek" and "Tess," introduced through the "World Literature Collection," took third and sixth places respectively, and "Stick!," which established the principles of advertising copy and has become the bible for businessmen worldwide, ranked fifth. "Design Your Language," which contains language usage methods for designing life (8th place), and "The Joy of Conversation," a collection of honest stories from KBS's "The Joy of Conversation" participants (10th place), also attracted Willa subscribers' attention throughout January.
