Binggrae is relocating its headquarters to Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
According to industry sources on the 3rd, Binggrae will move its headquarters office to the Gwanghwamun Concordian Building on the 13th of this month. Originally, Binggrae's headquarters was located in the Paejae Jeongdong Building in Jeong-dong, Seoul. After 19 years since moving here from Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province in 2004, it is setting up a new base again.
Haitai Ice Cream will also relocate to the same building. Binggrae and Haitai Ice Cream plan to lease four floors of the Concordian Building. The two companies aim to maximize merger synergy by enhancing work convenience through this move. Previously, in 2020, Binggrae acquired the ice cream business division shares of Haitai Confectionery for 132.5 billion KRW and incorporated it as a subsidiary.
A Binggrae representative said, "Due to reasons such as staff expansion, the existing office became cramped, so we decided to move to a larger space."
