Simultaneous Targeting of B2C and B2B Markets
Connect Wave's overseas subsidiary, Malltail, announced on the 19th that it will target the European market by promoting its purchasing agency service that simultaneously targets both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) channels.
Malltail plans to expand its B2C business by sourcing popular local products from Korea based on its logistics center located near Frankfurt Airport, the largest logistics hub in Europe, and diversifying sales channels through collaboration with individual sellers and well-known influencers. At the same time, it will strengthen its purchasing agency role in the B2B business area by supplying goods to domestic companies.
In particular, in addition to the liquor purchasing agency service, which showed high growth after its debut last year, the company aims to continue its growth by introducing segmented popular categories such as data-driven curated personal care products and interior goods.
A representative from Malltail stated, “We have secured optimized purchasing agency capabilities through our bases in several European countries and product sourcing technology that reflects high-quality data. Moving forward, we will target the European market and enhance profitability through various product categories and sales channels.”
