[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University announced on the 16th that it held the ‘2023 Academic Year Student Leadership Camp for Executives’ at the KB Ingenium Training Center in Sacheon City, with about 50 representatives from central autonomous organizations and colleges participating.
The Student Affairs Office of Gyeongsang National University organized this camp to strengthen the qualities and capabilities of student representatives who will lead the 2023 academic year, enabling them to conduct various on- and off-campus events in a sound and safe manner based on proper and proactive leadership.
At the camp, leadership instructor Choi Hyo-jung, a graduate of Gyeongsang National University, gave a highly praised lecture based on her own experiences, serving as a role model for the executive students.
Team leader Jeong Jin-hyeok from the Student Affairs Office conducted education focused on cases such as the proper use of student council fees and excessive collection of fees, making it easy for students to understand. The camp also included recreational activities that allowed students to focus and enjoy the content.
In particular, during the meeting between the Student Affairs Office and the executive students of the central autonomous organizations, opinions were exchanged regarding various projects to be promoted by the students and the Student Affairs Office in the 2023 academic year.
Student Affairs Director Kwon Seon-ok said, “I hope that the Student Affairs Office and the executive students will collaborate to safely carry out all events in the 2023 academic year, making it the best year for everyone.”
