On the morning of the 14th (local time), several explosions were heard in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, followed by an air raid alert, according to major foreign news agencies.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated on Telegram that missile attacks were taking place on key infrastructure in Kyiv.

Vitalii Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv, said, "Explosions were heard in the Dniprovskiy district on the left side of Kyiv."

It has not been confirmed whether the explosions were caused by missile strikes or by the air defense system. This is the first time Kyiv has been exposed to an air raid since January 1.
