[Asia Economy Reporter Byeon Seon-jin] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 10th at midnight that 60,041 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the cumulative total to 29,599,747.

The number of new cases on this day increased by 40,935 compared to the previous day (19,106), reflecting the weekend decrease effect. It decreased by 20,998 compared to a week ago on the 3rd (81,039), and by 27,535 compared to two weeks ago on December 27 last year (87,576). The recent scale of confirmed cases shows a clear downward trend.
