Dongui University Busan Beomcheon Leather Bag and Shoe Center, Commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups

A representative of the Busan Beomcheon Leather Bag and Shoe Center under the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dong-Eui University is receiving the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the '2022 Small Business Specialized Support Project Performance Report Meeting.'

At the performance report meeting, the Busan Beomcheon Leather Bag and Shoe Center was recognized for its contribution to regional economic development through the Small Business Specialized Support Project and was selected as an excellent support organization for the 2022 Small Business Promotion Merit.

The center carries out step-by-step support projects such as technology and management education, product development and commercialization support, market development support, and participation in exhibitions for small business owners operating leather, bag, and shoe manufacturing companies with fewer than 10 regular employees in Busanjin-gu.

In 2021, it received the highest grade, 'A grade,' in the performance evaluation conducted among 34 centers nationwide.

Director Mok Hye-eun of the center said, "In 2023, we plan to organize new support projects that can support the growth and development of existing businesses and leather, bag, and shoe manufacturing small business owners, as well as promote win-win cooperation with young small business owners."
