Daewoo Saemaeul Small Library was established in 2003 at Wonho Daewoo Apartments as a Saemaeul Small Library. In 2021, it was selected for a provincial government project, relocated, and remodeled, reopening in a spacious and pleasant environment.

This library has served not only as a book lending facility but also as a cultural communication space with residents by operating hobby classes and a ukulele club.

Furthermore, the Saemaeul Library Gumi City Branch has worked hard to create a city culture favorable to reading by operating a mobile library and 42 Saemaeul Small Libraries, hosting the Gumi City Children’s Reading King Selection Contest, and holding the Saemaeul Reading Golden Bell event to establish a reading culture.
