'One Month in Office' Kang Shin-sook, President of Suhyup Bank, Continues Broad Activities Kang Sin-suk, President of Suhyup Bank

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] On the 17th, marking one month since her inauguration, Kang Sin-sook, CEO of Sh Suhyup Bank, continues her active on-site communication management.


According to Suhyup Bank, CEO Kang visited the Customer Support Center located in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 14th. On that day, she encouraged the employees who handle 24-hour customer consultation services and gifted them winter padding jumpers.


CEO Kang also personally answered customer complaint calls that day. This event was organized to emphasize the role and importance of the Customer Support Center, which is the closest point of contact with customers, as phone consultations and non-face-to-face transactions have increased since COVID-19.


She also visited the Mapo Financial Center to listen to difficulties faced in the sales field, and on the same day, visited the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation located in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where she held a meeting with Chairman Han Ki-jun. CEO Kang exchanged opinions with Chairman Han on reducing marine waste, marine environment preservation, and related financial support measures.


Earlier, on the 2nd, CEO Kang visited Busan Metropolitan City and held a dinner with executives and employees under the Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters. At this event, she emphasized the 'Four Wheels Theory.' This means that for a car to move forward, all four wheels must perform their roles stably. She urged the executives and employees to faithfully fulfill their duties in their respective positions and practice autonomous and responsible management. CEO Kang also visited the Jeju region on the 25th of last month.


CEO Kang plans to continue on-site communication management by visiting Suhyup Bank branches nationwide and major clients. She said, "To present a concrete blueprint for future changes, we will accelerate on-site communication management with the mindset that 'the answer lies in the field.'"


Meanwhile, CEO Kang is a figure who has broken the glass ceiling within Suhyup multiple times, being the first female branch manager, first female headquarters chief, first female vice president, and first female executive director. She was inaugurated on the 17th of last month as the first female CEO since Suhyup's founding.
