[Asia Economy Reporter Seo Mideum] NHN Link Co., Ltd. unveiled the Link Art Center, a performance venue, and held an opening ceremony on the 14th, officially commencing its operations.


NHN Link, an online ticket sales agency, announced that it has established the new Link Art Center at the site of the former Dongyang Arts Theater in Hyehwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and will begin operating the performance venue business.

The opening ceremony was attended by Wang Munju, CEO of NHN Link; Jeong Yeonhoon, CEO of NHN Payco; Park Junseok, CEO of NHN KCP; Lee Seungcheol, General CP of NHN Link & Bugs; Lim Byeongwoo, CEO of NHN Travel Doctor; Song Eundo, CEO of Atteod (professor at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts); Choi Yonghyuk, president of Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts; and actor Lee Soonjae.


The Link Art Center, consisting of the Payco Hall with approximately 500 seats and the Bugs Hall with about 400 seats, is a performance venue suitable for small to medium-sized theater plays, musicals, and concerts.

The opening commemorative performances, lasting about 40 days from the 16th of next month, will feature artists from various genres, including world-renowned classical musicians such as Sumi Jo, Yuki Kuramoto, and Richard Yongjae O'Neill, as well as musical actors.


New-age pianist Yuki Kuramoto will hold a concert at Payco Hall on the 18th of next month, and violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill will host "Gift: Christmas Concert" on Christmas Day, December 25. Soprano Sumi Jo will take the stage for the "New Year Concert" held on January 7 of next year.


In addition, concerts by about 30 musical actors including Ko Hoonjung, Kim Chanho, Min Kyungah, Jang Jihoo, and Jaymin will continue until January 23 of next year.
