[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On the morning of the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test day, the temperature will be between 1 and 10 degrees Celsius, similar to the previous day. Due to the large temperature difference between day and night, examinees are advised to dress accordingly to the temperature changes.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 6 a.m., temperatures in major areas are Seoul 6.1°C, Incheon 7.6°C, Suwon 6.1°C, Chuncheon 1.4°C, Gangneung 8.2°C, Cheongju 6.2°C, Daejeon 4.1°C, Jeonju 6.1°C, Gwangju 7.0°C, Jeju 11.5°C, Daegu 5.1°C, Busan 10.5°C, Ulsan 7.9°C, and Changwon 9.0°C.

In some northern Gyeonggi areas, inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon, Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, temperatures have dropped below 0°C, causing frost and ice in some places.

Clouds will be abundant nationwide but will gradually clear from the morning. Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy, with some places experiencing less than 0.1mm of raindrops in the afternoon. Until morning, fog reducing visibility to less than 1 km is expected mainly in the central inland and Jeonbuk inland areas, and during the day, thin fog or haze (mist) may occur in some places.

The daytime high temperature will be between 14 and 19 degrees Celsius, similar to or slightly higher than the previous day (11.3?18.3°C). Seoul will reach 16°C; Suwon, Daejeon, Daegu, Ulsan, and Jeonju 17°C; Gangneung, Gwangju, and Jeju 18°C; and Busan 19°C. Most inland areas will experience a large temperature difference of around 15 degrees Celsius between day and night.

Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions. However, the Seoul metropolitan area, Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Daegu are expected to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.

From the afternoon, strong winds of 8 to 13 meters per second will blow over the outer southern seas of Jeju Island. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the outer seas will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
