[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Kwak Soo-yoon (54), Vice President, has been appointed as the new CEO of DL Construction.

According to DL Construction on the 9th, CEO Kwak graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Architecture and joined Daelim Industrial (now DL E&C) in 1992. He has held positions such as Head of the Architectural Technology Team, Executive Director in charge of Estimation, Technology, and Architectural Business, Executive Director in charge of Housing Planning, CEO and Executive Director of Korea Development (now DL Construction), and Executive Director of the Management Innovation Headquarters at Daelim Construction.

Last November, he moved to DL Construction and worked as Executive Director of the Housing Architecture Business Headquarters before being appointed as CEO and Vice President this time. A DL Construction official said, "The new CEO Kwak has worked at DL E&C for over 25 years, especially focusing on the housing business, developing capabilities in various fields at both headquarters and sites, which will greatly contribute to the growth of DL Construction, whose main business is housing. Since he has proven his management abilities as CEO at Korea Development, it will also have a positive effect on DL Construction's management."
