‘DIT EXPO’ Held … Dong-Eui Science University Wraps Up the Year with Program Implementation Achievements Summary At the '2022 DIT EXPO Awards Ceremony' held at the Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Information Hall seminar, the awardees are taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a performance-sharing event to review the university's achievements as the year comes to a close.


The LINC3.0 Project Group of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held the '2022 DIT EXPO Awards Ceremony' on the 28th at the university's Information Hall seminar room to summarize the achievements of this year's industry-academia cooperation programs.


The event was organized to discover and share excellent cases of industry-academia cooperation to contribute to the activation of future collaborations. The awards were presented in the order of the On-site Training Essay Contest, DIT Capstone Design Competition, and DIT Dream Start-UP Idea Competition.


The Capstone Design is a comprehensive competition aimed at enhancing students' creative problem-solving skills and job performance abilities through collaboration. Teams consist of students, professors, and industry practitioners participating together.


At the competition held on the 7th of last month, many outstanding works demonstrating creativity and practical applicability were submitted, leading to intense competition among students.


In the competition, the Binary team from the Department of Artificial Intelligence Computer Information, who submitted the 'Clubroom Access Management System Using Artificial Intelligence,' received the grand prize for their high technical level and effective application in the related field.


Additionally, ▲ three teams including Genie from the Department of Interior Design ▲ five teams including Team 2 from the Department of Industrial Design's Choi Kang ▲ ten teams including E-DRONE from the AI Electronics Department received gold, silver, and bronze awards respectively.


The winners of the On-site Training Essay Contest were ▲ Grand Prize: Kwon Ji-yoon from the Department of Physical Therapy ▲ Gold Prize: Kim Hyun-min from the Department of Hotel and Culinary Arts ▲ Silver Prize: Two recipients including Jang Jae-min from the Department of Chemical Engineering ▲ Bronze Prize: Two recipients including Lee Seo-yoon from the Department of Hair Beauty ▲ Four recipients including Joo Se-hyun from the Department of Chemical Engineering.


In the DIT Dream Start-UP Idea Competition held to promote youth entrepreneurship, the awards went to ▲ Grand Prize: Green Pet team from the Department of Automotive ▲ Excellence Prize: Two teams including 'I Want to Travel' from the Department of Medical Skin Care ▲ Merit Prize: Two teams including 'Support Fire' from the Department of Nursing ▲ Encouragement Prize: Two teams including 'Ttobagi' from the Department of Emergency Medical Services.


Kim Kyung-ho, head of the project group, said, “DIT EXPO is a platform for spreading excellent industry-academia cooperation achievements between the university and local industries. The LINC3.0 Project Group will continue to do its best to discover and disseminate outstanding cases through the activation of industry-academia cooperation so that the university can become an ACE leading specialized college contributing to regional community development.”
