[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 9th that it has opened the official BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) merchandise store 'SPACE OF BTS' at Lotte Duty Free Busan to revitalize tourism in the Busan area.

On the 8th, Lotte Duty Free opened the official BTS merchandise store on the 8th floor of Lotte Duty Free Busan. The strategy is to contribute to the revitalization of local tourism by attracting tourists, including BTS's global fans, to Busan. This is why the BTS store was opened at the Busan branch rather than a store located in the metropolitan area.

The store offers over 200 BTS-related products, including themed items graphically designed with BTS's representative songs such as "IDOL," "DNA," "Boy With Luv," and "ON," as well as fashion and living goods, and stationery. It also sells 'Basic' themed items like sweatshirts, T-shirts, and cardigans, along with figures, plush toys, and snow globes featuring BTS's characters, TinyTAN.

Prior to opening the official BTS merchandise store, Lotte Duty Free opened Asia's largest 'Kering Eyewear' boutique at Lotte Duty Free Busan in August, expanding brands and stores so that tourists visiting Busan can enjoy duty-free shopping. They are also conducting customer promotions to attract tourists, such as providing discount coupons up to 30,000 KRW for Japanese group tourists visiting Lotte Duty Free Busan.

Lee Seung-guk, Head of Merchandise at Lotte Duty Free, said, "In line with the transition to the endemic phase (periodic outbreaks of infectious diseases), we will continue to introduce attractive products and brands so that inbound tourists can also visit the Busan area frequently."
