CJ Foodville N Seoul Tower and Namhae German Village Host 'Namsan Oktoberfest'

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] CJ Foodville announced on the 7th that it will hold the ‘Namsan Oktoberfest,’ where visitors can enjoy beer and pairing menus with Namsan as the backdrop, at N Seoul Tower from the 7th to the 10th.

The event is a continuation of the recently concluded ‘German Village Beer Festival,’ a representative festival of Namhae-gun, held at Namsan. It was planned as part of a win-win agreement signed between CJ Foodville and Namhae-gun. N Seoul Tower offers visitors various attractions including beer, while also supporting the promotion of local communities such as Namhae-gun and the German Village Beer Festival.

During the event period, the plaza in front of the tower will feature various beers from the traditional German wheat beer brand ‘Erdinger (ERDINGER),’ as well as sausages and Vips Schweinshaxen. Vips Schweinshaxen is an authentic German-style Schweinshaxen made by cooking a large pork front leg whole for over five hours, resulting in a crispy exterior and moist interior. A set product consisting of an unlimited beer pass, two beers, and sausages will be sold online in advance. A picnic set rental service, including mats and cutlery, will also be provided so visitors can enjoy beer while taking in views around Namsan.

Various other activities are available as well. Participatory programs such as dart throwing, beer mug lifting contests, and beer drinking races are organized. Throughout the programs, diverse performances including acoustic, jazz, busking shows, and DJ parties will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy beer and music together.
