Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, selected three courteous public officials for the third quarter of 2022 and awarded them commendations.

The courteous public officials selected this time are Yoon Seong-gyeong, administrative officer of the Resident Welfare Division; Kim Young-hae, administrative officer of the Construction and Transportation Division; and Moon Eun-joo, administrative officer of the Health Management Division.

The county selected candidates by comprehensively reviewing compliments from civil petitioners and colleagues as well as internal contributions, and then selected the courteous public officials through the deliberation of the screening committee.

Administrative officer Yoon of the Resident Welfare Division accurately understood the support project for families with disabled children and promptly handled civil petition tasks, while administrative officer Kim of the Construction and Transportation Division actively carried out the petitioners' matters as if they were his own.

Administrative officer Moon of the Health Management Division kindly explained the childbirth support project to a petitioner expecting childbirth and sent missed information separately via text message, receiving favorable evaluations.

County Governor Kim Bu-young said, “Public officials can find the meaning of their existence only because of the residents. I hope they will become the most courteous public officials so that residents can feel respected.”
