Police Review Application for Arrest Warrant
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 60s who suspected his mistress of cheating and rammed her with a cargo truck was arrested by the police.
On the 23rd, the Incheon Western Police Station announced that they had arrested and were investigating Mr. A (62) on charges of special injury and property damage.
Mr. A is accused of ramming his mistress in her 50s, Ms. B, with a 1-ton truck on a road in Seoknam-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, at around 5:55 p.m. the previous day, causing her injury.
It is known that Mr. A committed the crime after seeing Ms. B coming out of a lodging facility and suspecting her of having an affair.
The victim, Ms. B, suffered fractures and was transferred to a nearby hospital, but her life is not in danger.
A police official said, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident and the motive for the crime, and are also considering applying for an arrest warrant."
