[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Osstem Implant is accelerating market development by expanding its sales network through overseas subsidiaries in South America.
Osstem Implant recently announced on the 20th that it invited 135 local dentists and related personnel from Mexico to its headquarters in Seoul for training. The local dentists toured Osstem Implant's headquarters and examined more than 10,000 products displayed at the 'Osstem Research Institute Product Exhibition Hall.'
They also received clinical practice training using Osstem Implant products. This invitation training program was planned and organized by Osstem Implant's Mexico subsidiary, with support from the Spain subsidiary providing real-time interpretation.
An Osstem Implant official said, "By utilizing the excellent infrastructure of the Korean headquarters, including a large auditorium and training facilities capable of accommodating a large number of people, as well as exhibition tour programs and clinical education curricula, the trust, favorability, and product understanding of Mexican customers have significantly increased."
Osstem Implant currently operates overseas subsidiaries in Mexico, Chile, and Brazil among South American countries. The Mexico and Chile subsidiaries recorded average annual sales growth rates of 46.5% and 55.9%, respectively, over the past five years.
Osstem Implant invites dentists from both domestic and overseas to its Korean headquarters to provide lectures and practical training by global implant surgery authorities, and operates major facility tour programs including the headquarters research institute and exhibition hall.
