Dongmyung University Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Holds Speech Therapist Oath Ceremony and Progress Report Meeting

Students of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Dongmyung University are taking the oath at the speech therapist oath ceremony.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Dongmyung University held the Speech-Language Therapist Oath Ceremony and Speech Therapy Progress Report Meeting at the university's main administration building on the 19th. A total of 88 people, including students and professors, attended the event.

Third-year students, who will be responsible for speech rehabilitation for one year, took an oath to engage in speech therapy practice with a sincere heart.

Fourth-year student therapists, concluding their one-year speech rehabilitation practice, reported on the speech rehabilitation activities of the clients they intervened with and the progress of the clients at the Speech Therapy Progress Report Meeting.

Professor Lee Seong-min, head of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, said, “I hope that students and supervising professors will wholeheartedly engage in practice so that they can become well-rounded speech therapists equipped with professionalism and character.”

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Dongmyung University provides speech therapy for children or adults in the local community who have developmental delays or problems in language.
