"Improvised Lies to Cover Up Criticism of Poor Emergency Response"

There was criticism, and it seems that an explanation was made about considering helicopter transportation to cover it up, but it has been revealed that this was a makeshift lie to evade the situation.”
On the same day, Jin appeared on YTN Radio’s 'News King Park Ji-hoon' and said, “According to what our party members have identified, the presidential helicopter is too heavy to land on the rooftop of Acrovista. If it were to land, it would have to be under conditions like special forces personnel climbing up and down ropes, using a helicopter rappel method.”
He added, “The presidential office explained the day after the heavy rain that they considered using a helicopter to transport the president, but that was impossible from the start.” Jin said, “Even during the heavy rain situation, the president left work and stayed at the private residence, claiming to have responded to the disaster situation. When criticism arose asking if that was the only response in an emergency, it seems they tried to cover it up with an explanation.”
Regarding the 'Kim Geon-hee Special Prosecutor Act' proposed by the Democratic Party, he pointed out, “Even in the Deutsche Motors stock manipulation case, more than two years have passed since the investigation began, and all related individuals have been prosecuted, with some receiving guilty verdicts. However, Mrs. Kim has not yet been summoned for investigation.” He elaborated, “Despite the investigations by the prosecution and police into the Deutsche Motors case and the academic and career forgery case having been ongoing for a long time, they have been left unresolved, so it is common sense within the party that this issue cannot be overlooked.”
Regarding the allegations of misuse of corporate cards by Kim Hye-kyung, wife of Lee Jae-myung, the party leader candidate, he said, “I wonder if this is a matter serious enough to warrant indictment, trial, and punishment,” adding, “Since she has appeared for police investigation, it is a matter of holding her accountable to a degree commensurate with the wrongdoing.”
