[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Samjin Foods, which operates Samjin Eomuk, a leading domestic fish cake brand, will launch a casual snack brand ‘SAMJIN YUM (Samjin Yam)’ on the 22nd.

Samjin Yam is a newly introduced casual fish cake snack brand that develops only snack-type fish cake products that can be easily consumed in daily life.

Focusing on the ‘snack-ification of fish cake’ to make fish cake easier to enjoy in everyday life, it plans to realize the vision of ‘creating a culture of fish cake’ together with the fish cake bakery brand Samjin Eomuk.

The first Samjin Yam store is located at the Shinsegae Department Store main branch in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

You can also find Samjin Eomuk’s popular snack menus such as the six types of Samjin Yam’s signature menu ‘Amazing Hot Bar,’ fish cake croquette, and chili fried fish cake.

The six types of Samjin Yam’s Amazing Hot Bar consist of ▲Eotteok Eotteok Bar ▲Okonomiyaki Fish Cake Bar ▲Cheese Bomb Fish Cake Bar ▲Shrimp Fish Cake Bar ▲Potato Fish Cake Bar ▲Yonggari Fish Cake Bar.

Targeting the MZ generation, Samjin Yam also introduces its independently developed Samjin Yam character.

It plans to strengthen communication with young customers through various goods such as product packaging, grip tok, cooler bags, and stickers.

An event commemorating the opening of Samjin Yam’s first store, ‘Samjin Yam Shinsegae Main Branch,’ will also be held.

From the opening day on the 22nd, customers who purchase over a certain amount will receive a Samjin Yam character grip tok and cooler bag for free.

The event will be limited to 100 and 50 items per day respectively until the goods run out of stock.
