Selected 100 People Twice Annually
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CJ Olive Young announced on the 16th that starting next month, it will establish a Top Reviewer program and implement a reviewer reward system to foster a culture where customers voluntarily write reviews and communicate.
The Top Reviewer is a higher tier than the excellent reviewer, Top Reviewer, and they act as influencers within the platform, responsible for creating high-quality review content. Olive Young plans to select 100 Top Reviewers twice a year. During the six-month activity period, they will receive CJ ONE points worth 40,000 KRW per month, and after the activity ends, they will be given commemorative gifts worth 500,000 KRW and benefits such as invitations to Olive Young Awards and Festa events.
The Top Reviewer, previously selected at 1,000 people per week, will now be selected at 2,000 people based on two months of activity, increasing both the operation cycle and the number of people. The existing benefits, such as up to 50% discount coupons and double CJ ONE points for writing reviews, will remain the same. A follow function for reviewers and a comment function for reviews will also be introduced. Through this, it will be possible to subscribe to reviewers' content or communicate directly through comments.
An Olive Young official said, “Since the nature of cosmetics means that other users' reviews have a significant impact on purchase decisions, securing trustworthy reviews is directly linked to the platform's competitiveness,” adding, “We plan to strengthen the function as a community beyond commerce by fostering a culture where customers voluntarily produce review content and communicate with other customers.”
