Children and officials who participated in the Gijang-gun Regional Children's Center Joint Sports Festival are taking a group commemorative photo after the event.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 12th, Gijang-gun, Busan, held the "9th Gijang-gun Regional Children's Center Joint Sports Competition" at the Gijang Sports Center.
The sports competition, held for the first time in three years due to COVID-19, was hosted by the Gijang-gun Regional Children's Center Council and sponsored by Gijang-gun and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters.
The event was attended by Jeong Jong-bok, head of Gijang-gun, Park Woo-sik, chairman of the Gijang-gun Council, Lee Tae-ho, secretary general of the office of National Assembly member Jeong Dong-man, and other county officials, who cheered to ensure that the children had an exciting and meaningful time.
The event was held for about 300 participants, including children using 10 local children's centers in the district, their parents, and officials from the regional children's centers.
The event featured various and interesting programs such as special performances of children's ukulele and dance, Cheongbaek card flipping, carrying a large boat, limbo games, and tug-of-war, providing the children with an enjoyable time.
Jeong Jong-bok, head of Gijang-gun, said, "We must value most the bright and healthy growth of children, who are our future and hope," adding, "We will always do our best to promote local child welfare so that our children can grow up healthy in a happy and safe care environment."
