Hanacard×Ediya Coffee Join Hands... From OneQ Pay Payment to PLCC Launch


[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hana Card announced on the 11th that it signed a strategic business agreement on the 10th with the domestic coffee franchise Ediya Coffee, focusing on the launch of a private label credit card (PLCC), the introduction of OneQ Pay payment, and big data marketing.


Through this agreement, Hana Card plans to introduce an optimized PLCC to the 5 million members of the Ediya Members application. The PLCC will offer not only Ediya Coffee specialized services but also additional lifestyle services aligned with recent trends.


In addition, OneQ Pay payment will be introduced at over 3,000 Ediya Coffee offline stores nationwide, enabling all customers, including iPhone users, to easily and quickly use Hana Card’s mobile simple payment service, OneQ Pay. Going forward, both companies intend to rapidly combine their big data and platform operation expertise to proactively respond to changing trends and provide high-quality services.


To commemorate this strategic business agreement, Hana Card will also hold an event from the 18th to the 31st, where customers who pay 3,000 won or more using OneQ Pay QR at all Ediya Coffee stores will earn 1,000 Hana Money points.


Kwon Gil-ju, CEO of Hana Card, stated, "We will create a new business model that has never existed in the market by combining Hana Card’s digital, platform, and data capabilities and know-how. We will promote business partnerships in various fields to expand digital financial experiences for all customers using Hana Card and Ediya Coffee."
