[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] The hearing for the injunction filed by Representative Lee Jun-seok, requesting the suspension of the effectiveness of the People Power Party's decision to switch to an emergency response committee, will be held on the 17th.

According to the court on the 10th, the Civil Division 51 of the Seoul Southern District Court (Presiding Judge Hwang Jeong-su) will conduct the hearing for the injunction application filed by Representative Lee against the People Power Party and Emergency Committee Chairman Joo Ho-young on the 17th.

The People Power Party held a consecutive members' meeting and national committee meeting the day before, transitioning to an emergency response committee system with Representative Joo Ho-young as chairman.

Representative Lee, who will be automatically dismissed upon the transition to the emergency response committee, filed the injunction the day before, citing procedural legitimacy issues.
