I&Story's Jakshim Study Cafe, Resort People Sign MOU for Creating a Complex Cultural Space

ING Story, which operates the domestic study cafe and shared office brand ‘Jakshim,’ has signed an MOU (Mutual Business Agreement) with ‘Resort People’ to create a complex cultural space.

Jakshim, a complex cultural space platform operated by ING Story, plans to open locations mainly in small buildings (entire spaces) and large buildings such as department stores, mixed-use residential and commercial complexes, and community facilities within apartment complexes, in collaboration with Resort People.

Study cafes are long-lasting space businesses with the advantage of higher profitability compared to other rental businesses. Moreover, they can generate steady revenue and are expected to have a ‘spillover’ effect that enhances the value of the building.

Additionally, Jakshim has expanded its business area to shared offices, meeting the needs of adults such as one-person companies, freelancers, and remote workers. Furthermore, Jakshim has also signed an MOU with the office platform company ‘Fast Five’ to broaden its base as a hub office.

This MOU marks the foundation for Resort People’s participation in creating Jakshim’s complex cultural space and for jointly housing Resort People’s brands. Resort People operates the fitness specialty brand ‘Resort Fitness’ and the yoga & pilates specialty brand ‘Resort Lab.’

An ING Story official stated, “Interest in health and self-care is increasing, especially among the MZ generation. Through the MOU with Resort People, we expect an upgrade of the spaces provided by Jakshim. By adding fitness spaces, we plan to create an intersection between daily life and work, transforming into a complex cultural space that can enhance building value.”
