Goheung Wee Center Conducts 'Mentor and Mentee Summer Experience'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Goheung Office of Education announced on the 2nd that the Wee Center conducted a 'Summer Experience Shared by Mentors and Mentees.'

This experience took place at Neunggasa Temple in Jeomam-myeon and the Wood Culture Experience Center, involving Wee Center professionals and Mom-Pum Support Group mentors to promote a healthy summer life for students in need of emotional support.

The activities included ▲ learning about the history and treasures of our hometown ▲ healing walks in the natural ecological forest ▲ clock-making experience ▲ and experiencing the benefits that trees provide in our daily lives.

Kim Jeong-hee, the Superintendent of Education, expressed gratitude to the Wee Center counseling teachers and mentor teachers who worked hard even on holidays to help students have a healthy summer vacation. She added, “I hope this time allows students to check and care for their physical and mental health on their own, and we will continue to do our best to support students' emotional well-being.”
