Up to 40% Cheaper Compared to Existing Prices

According to the industry on the 23rd, Emart is offering up to a 40% discount on American and Australian grilled meat products when accumulating Shinsegae points until the 27th. Representative products include Australian grain-fed oyster blade, American choice top blade, and American choice chuck flap tail. American LA galbi can be purchased at a price 10,000 won lower than the original price.
Lotte Mart is also discounting some American and Australian beef grilling and steak products during the same period. Representative products include American choice chuck tender and prime chuck eye roll 100g, offered at about 40% cheaper than the original price at 1,990 won. For refrigerated American and Australian beef, prices are generally reduced by an average of 10%, and about 20 items such as Australian Wagyu sirloin are offered with approximately 20-40% discounts for L Point members.
Earlier, Canadian pork, which started tariff quota application from the 1st of this month, will be sold at 1,580 won for pork belly and 1,480 won for neck meat, about 20% cheaper than prices before the tariff quota application. Lotte Mart's signature product, shoulder rack (lamb ribs), is sold at a 30% discount for L Point members, and the spicy broth lamb shabu-shabu called Yang 5-cho Shabu, which includes two kinds of sauces, is also available at an affordable price.
A Lotte Mart official said, "We prepared this event to help customers who feel burdened by prolonged price increases when grocery shopping," adding, "We will do our best to prepare reasonable products to stabilize dining table prices."
