Jindo-gun to Open Sacheon-ri Water Playground on the 15th

Affordable Summer Resort with Water Play Pool and Rest Area Using Clean Valley Water

[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] The Sacheon-ri water playground near Cheomchal Mountain in Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, will open from the 15th.

The Sacheon-ri water playground, located within Unlim Sambyeolcho Park in Sacheon-ri, Uisin-myeon, will operate from July 15th (Friday), the start of the peak summer vacation season, until August 15th (Monday).

With a total area of 6,700㎡, the water playground features a three-tiered pool, an 860㎡ shaded area, various types of pools, picnic tables, parasols, and other resting spaces. Admission is free.

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. without holidays, the Sacheon-ri water playground uses clean valley water flowing down from Cheomchal Mountain, making it refreshingly cool enough to beat the summer heat in an instant.

Especially, it has excellent accessibility from Jindo-eup downtown, and with its shallow and safe water depth, it is highly praised as an affordable summer retreat for families with children.

Nearby tourist attractions include Unlim Sanbang, National Designated Scenic Site No. 80, Sambyeolcho Theme Park, Jindo Scenery Auto Camping Site within the park, and the thousand-year-old temple Ssanggyesa.
