Song Kang-ho and Lee Byung-hun's 'Emergency Declaration' Takes Off on August 3

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The movie "Emergency Declaration" (directed by Han Jae-rim) will be released on August 3.

Showbox announced this on the 4th and revealed character posters of seven people facing an aviation disaster, including actors Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon, and Im Si-wan.

The film depicts the story of a plane that declares an unconditional landing due to an unprecedented aviation terror and the people confronting the disaster. It contrasts those on the ground who must prevent the rapidly changing disaster situation moment by moment with those in the air facing an unprecedented crisis.

Veteran detective team leader In-ho (Song Kang-ho) struggles in the rain on the ground to prevent the disaster, and Jae-hyuk (Lee Byung-hun), who boarded the plane with his daughter, watches over the surroundings to protect the child. Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Sook-hee (Jeon Do-yeon) strives to save the people, First Officer Hyun-soo (Kim Nam-gil) feels the responsibility to safely land the plane to protect the passengers. Additionally, Jin-seok (Im Si-wan) watches the chaotic situation inside the plane with the calmest expression.
