[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Winia Electronics announced on the 29th that it will sponsor the 'Special Exhibition Commemorating Mexican Veterans of the Korean War' in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Mexico.

The special exhibition will be held at the Seoul War Memorial until September 25 under the theme "I Returned from Korea." It is divided into zones titled "Mexico and the Korean War," "Under Another Country's Flag," and "Across the Battlefield."

Artifacts of eight Korean War veterans are exhibited according to the theme of each space. Winia Electronics participated in the sponsorship by providing research funds to a distinguished Mexican historian who collects and verifies the materials.

Last year, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Mexico, a gratitude event was held to invite Mexican Korean War veterans. At this event, plaques of appreciation were presented to the veterans and their bereaved families, along with various home appliances from Winia Electronics as gifts.

Seounseok Seo, Executive Vice President of Overseas Business at Winia Electronics, said, "We will continue to strive to develop the friendly relations between the two countries."
