[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Sempio announced on the 22nd that it has been selected as the recipient of the ‘Social Value Realization’ category for four consecutive years at the ‘2022 Korea Consumer Awards’ hosted by the Korea Consumer Association.
The Korea Consumer Awards have been recognizing companies, individuals, and organizations that strive to enhance consumer rights and possess public interest, competitiveness, and reliability since 2012. Among these, the ‘Social Value Realization’ category, which identifies companies that actively contribute to public interest and community development beyond profit-seeking, was established in 2019. Sempio has won this award for four consecutive years from its inception to this year.
Sempio has been highly evaluated for its efforts over the past 10 years to promote the precious value of home-cooked meals enjoyed and prepared by families together through the ‘Drawing Delicious Memories’ campaign and for launching the ‘Saemine Kitchen’ brand, making cooking enjoyable for everyone in various ways.
This year, following the Saemine Kitchen brand, Sempio opened the cooking community platform of the same name, ‘Saemine Kitchen Platform,’ to enable everyone to enjoy cooking. The Saemine Kitchen Platform consists of the ‘Cooking Consultation Center,’ where consumers can consult about everything related to cooking, and ‘Let’s Cook,’ a section for freely sharing and communicating all stories related to cooking.
