[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Hanyang Securities has praised BioFDNC for possessing world-class plant cell culture technology.

Byungyong Oh, a researcher at Hanyang Securities, explained, "Due to the Ukraine war, La Ni?a, drought, and heatwaves, global crop yields have sharply declined," adding, "The world is facing a grain resource crisis."

He continued, "With population growth and climate change, the grain resource crisis will become increasingly severe in the future," and added, "BioFDNC can mass-produce plant resources in factories solely through plant cell culture without cultivating plants in nature."

Furthermore, he emphasized, "It produces plant resources without resource depletion," stating, "Using plant cell culture technology, it is possible to cheaply mass-produce sustainable plant resources in factories, free from issues of plant resource depletion."

He analyzed, "Various active substances made through plant cell culture are already being supplied domestically and internationally," noting, "Last year's sales were 12 billion KRW, and this year's target is over 20 billion KRW."

Researcher Oh said, "From the customer's perspective, substances made through cell culture are more eco-friendly and cheaper than directly cultivating plants."

He added, "The markets BioFDNC can enter include almost all fields that use plants, such as food and health supplements," emphasizing, "Considering entry into a huge market, current performance may still be a modest figure."
