‘EVZone’ allows access to more than 40,000 chargers across the country. ChargeIn has roaming agreements with most charger installation companies in Korea, enabling charging with just the EVZone card.
The EVZone card can be used at 12,600 ChargeVisa chargers, 12,300 Everon chargers, 5,580 Humax chargers, 4,623 Korea Electric Vehicle Charging Service chargers, 2,277 Jeju Electric Vehicle Service chargers, and more.
ChargeIn is also progressing with its entry into the U.S. market in the second half of this year. The EVZone card will be available for charging not only in Korea but also overseas, including the United States.
With its U.S. market entry, ChargeIn is preparing a payment platform that allows the use of electric vehicle chargers with the EVZone card.
Choi Youngseok, CEO of ChargeIn, said, “The number of electric vehicle charging operators is increasing every year, and there is inconvenience in having to sign up as a new member to use each charger. The EVZone card allows access to over 40,000 chargers nationwide with just one membership registration, which is attracting great interest from electric vehicle drivers.”
