Paikdabang Unveils 5 Types of 'Frappe & Latte' to Beat Early Heat


[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Baekdabang, operated by The Born Korea, announced on the 24th that it will launch two types of ‘Cream Frappe’ and three types of ‘Ice Cream Latte’ emphasizing sweet taste and coolness ahead of summer.


The two Cream Frappe varieties reinterpret frappes in Baekdabang’s unique style, with a key feature being the use of whipped cream to highlight a soft sweetness. The Strawberry Cream Frappe blends a sweet and tangy strawberry-flavored beverage base with ice, offering a smooth yet sweet flavor, while the Choco Cream Frappe blends a chocolate-flavored beverage with ice, providing a soft sweetness perfect for refreshing your mood. Both menu items are topped with whipped cream and choco balls, completing a diverse texture and appetizing visual.


Baekdabang also expanded its latte menu by incorporating ice cream, which is favored by people of all ages. They introduced the ‘Ice Cream Cafe Latte,’ which adds sweetness by topping a savory cafe latte with soft ice cream; the ‘Ice Cream Cafe Mocha,’ which features soft ice cream on coffee made with rich espresso, smooth milk, and chocolate; and the ‘Ice Cream Vanilla Latte,’ which doubles the sweetness by topping a vanilla latte with soft ice cream, known for its sweet and subtle vanilla flavor.


Additionally, a menu item maximizing coolness was launched, featuring sweet Sikhye made with domestically produced Gyeonggi rice and crushed ice.


The new menu is available at Baekdabang stores nationwide, except for some locations.
