This training is the second group training conducted after the selection of forest sector workers this year.
Seon Jong-hwan, head of the Forest Creation Division at Boseong County Office, urged participants to pay attention to education directly related to their duties and precautions.
The main training contents included safety accident prevention methods, precautions during work, disciplinary standards for insincere workers, authority to terminate work for those violating guidelines and regulations, forest fire prevention, rapid response and evacuation measures in case of emergency patients, etc.
After the training, participants were asked to submit a compliance pledge.
Han Sang-beom, deputy director of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Jeonnam Eastern Branch, conducted intensive training on the prevention of safety accidents related to vehicle accidents, chainsaws, and work tools, as well as emergency measures.
A county official said, “This year as well, we will prioritize the safety of forest workers and actively seek new projects for the residents of Boseong-gun,” adding, “We will play a key role in advanced forest administration so that residents can feel the changes firsthand.”
Meanwhile, COVID-19 self-test kits were administered to all training participants, and the training was conducted only for those who tested negative.
