[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Former child actress Kim Saeron (22) was caught by the police while driving a passenger car under the influence of alcohol.

On the 18th, according to a compilation of Asia Economy's coverage, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating Kim on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving). The police stated, "We received 6 to 7 reports of a vehicle swerving while driving and immediately dispatched officers to the scene."

According to the police, Kim hit a structure near Hakdong Intersection in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 8 a.m. that day and fled the scene.

The police who arrived at the scene conducted a breathalyzer test on Kim, but she requested a blood test and was taken to a hospital.

The police said, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident," adding, "She was swaying so much that anyone could tell she was heavily intoxicated."
