Dong-A ST Announces Recruitment for Participants in 'Youth Environmental and Life Love Classroom'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Dong-A ST announced on the 17th that it is recruiting participants for the "17th Youth Environmental Love and Life Love Classroom" until the 12th of next month.

Since 2004, the Youth Environmental Love and Life Love Classroom has been an event for middle school students to directly feel and learn the importance of the environment and life, fostering a spirit of respect for life by protecting living beings in the environment with their own hands. This year, to prevent COVID-19 infection, the program will be held as a non-face-to-face online classroom.

Any middle school student who wishes to participate can apply. After receiving applications, a total of 80 participants (40 males and 40 females) will be selected through document screening and a computer lottery. The participation fee will be fully supported by the organizer, Dong-A ST.

Participants will learn the importance of the environment and life through experiential programs such as online lectures on biodiversity and the rebirth of waste, and offline plogging classes to protect the Earth, under the theme "Practical Measures to Protect Biodiversity Amid the Climate Crisis" from July 22 to 26, a total of five days.
