[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] Public Home Shopping announced on the 17th that it will recruit participants for an online non-face-to-face sales support project for local small and venture companies in collaboration with 15 regional economic promotion agencies nationwide until the 3rd of next month.
This project is a follow-up measure to the business agreement signed last month with 15 regional economic promotion agencies nationwide. It is being promoted to assist small and venture companies located in each region, fulfill the role of public sales channels, and contribute to balanced regional development.
Through this project, Public Home Shopping will select a total of 35 small and venture companies and provide one-stop support for TV home shopping. It will support the entire process from the initial product development stage, including one-on-one product coaching, to free sales broadcasts on TV home shopping. Up to 3.5 million KRW per company will be supported for TV home shopping video production costs.
It will also undertake sales channel support projects for socially disadvantaged companies such as those for the disabled and social enterprises. A support project selecting a total of 5 companies is currently underway. Free sales broadcasts on TV home shopping are scheduled for the second half of the year.
Additionally, the ‘2022 Excellent Idea and Creative Innovation Product Contest’ is ongoing for young venture startups and others. This contest, which selects 10 companies and provides product development support funds and free sales opportunities on TV home shopping, can be applied for through the small business distribution support portal site ‘Panpandaero’ until the 22nd.
Kim Hwan-su, head of the Public Interest Business Team at Public Home Shopping, said, “This project was planned to actively support local small and venture companies nationwide and strengthen online digital capabilities. Since we support the entire process before entering TV home shopping along with free sales broadcasts, we ask for your great interest and participation.”
