The Seoul Metropolitan Government will pilot a car-free street on the road in front of Cheongwadae (from Hyoja-dong Fountain to Chunghu Gate) during the Cheongwadae opening event period due to the sharp increase in pedestrian traffic following the full opening of Cheongwadae.

As interest in the opening of Cheongwadae continues, with the number of visitors exceeding 2.31 million, the Presidential Office has decided to extend the opening period until the 11th of next month.
