[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Kia launched the facelifted model of the mid-to-large sedan K8 on the 2nd. They analyzed customer data from the past year and included some frequently chosen features as standard, while improving key components.
For the hybrid model, considering that the most expensive Signature trim had a selection rate exceeding half, the existing premium option package was included as standard in the lower trims. The Noblesse trim now comes standard with an electric power trunk, ▲rear seat double-glazed soundproof glass ▲rear electric sunshades ▲rear seat multifunction armrest. The Signature trim includes suede interior materials as well as rear electric sunshades and a rear seat multifunction armrest as standard.
For the gasoline model, the electric power trunk and rear seat double-glazed soundproof glass were included as standard in the main Noblesse trim. The Signature trim features suede interior materials as standard. The premium option package, which previously required the Comfort option to be selected, can now be chosen independently.
The overhead console lamp switch now has illumination, and the brightness of the ambient light has been increased. A USB Type-C charging port is included as standard, and the built-in air purifier can be selected as a genuine accessory.
Prices increased by as little as 390,000 KRW and as much as 1,280,000 KRW. Based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax, the 2.5 gasoline model is priced at ▲Noblesse Light 33,180,000 KRW ▲Noblesse 35,730,000 KRW ▲Signature 39,320,000 KRW; the 3.5 gasoline model is ▲Noblesse Light 36,570,000 KRW ▲Noblesse 39,120,000 KRW ▲Signature 42,410,000 KRW ▲Platinum 45,650,000 KRW. The 1.6T hybrid model is priced at ▲Noblesse Light 37,380,000 KRW ▲Noblesse 40,570,000 KRW ▲Signature 44,150,000 KRW (based on eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits).
