Dongshin University Holds 'Student Council Inauguration Ceremony' for the First Time in 3 Years Since COVID-19

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dongshin University announced on the 14th that the inauguration ceremony of the Student Council and student autonomous organizations was held at the open-air theater.

Although the number of attendees was limited to 299 in accordance with quarantine guidelines, the event was held successfully with enthusiastic interest from students, as it was the first time in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Student Council, college student councils, and the executive committee of the General Club Union declared, "We will actively reflect the wishes of our fellow students throughout the year and bring a new breeze to the university campus."

Jae-man Shim (22 years old, 3rd year, Department of Police Administration), a current student, said, "For two years after entering university, face-to-face events were almost halted, but seeing the Student Council inauguration ceremony on this bright spring day with blooming flowers made the campus feel lively and united, which was great." He added, "I feel confident that if we are a little more careful in our daily lives, we can overcome COVID-19."
