Chairman Bauer said, "Korea is an important global partner of NATO," and added, "Let us continue to strengthen cooperation through ongoing military exchanges."
In particular, the Joint Chiefs of Staff conveyed that Bauer expressed gratitude for South Korea's active support regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Chairman Won emphasized, "Our country, as a responsible member of the international community, is participating in the international community's efforts for the swift resolution of the Ukraine situation and the maintenance of international peace."
This visit by Chairman Bauer to Korea was a reciprocal visit following Chairman Won's visit to the NATO Military Committee in November last year, aimed at strengthening Korea-NATO military exchanges.
