"For Greater Growth of Startups" ... Dongseo University Startup Support Group Holds 'Startup Networking Day'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Startup Support Group of Dongseo University held a 'Startup Company Networking Day' at the Westin Chosun Hotel on the 28th.

The 'Startup Company Networking Day' is an early startup package project, attended by about 30 company representatives including companies selected for the 2021 Early Startup Package, graduated companies, and partner companies of the Startup Support Group.

Park Eun-bin, CEO of Starfish Lab, who was invited as a keynote speaker, shared information on 'How to Properly Utilize Government Support Projects.'

Jang Ui-hyeong, CEO of Koacon, a partner company of Dongseo University, and Hong Seong-gyu, CEO of Rinox, gave lectures on investment attraction know-how and government support project know-how.

The attending companies launched the 'DSU Startup Company Council' and pledged mutual growth through industry-academic cooperation in the future. Yeom Ju-ho, CEO of Goldbridge, was appointed as the inaugural chairman of the council.

CEO Yeom Ju-ho said, "Companies selected through the Early Startup Package project have achieved significant growth," and added, "We want to collaborate with Dongseo University through the DSU Startup Company Council for industry-academic cooperation."

Jung Do-woon, head of the Startup Support Group, said, "By establishing the council, we will generously support greater growth of early startup companies through linked cooperation in 'education,' 'support,' and 'investment.'"

Dongseo University has carried out various national projects such as Startup Leading University, LINC+ Project, Laboratory Specialized Startup Leading University, and Early Startup Package Project to achieve mutual growth with companies.

By 2021, Dongseo University discovered and supported the growth of over 120 early startup companies.
