‘dalla’ Hosts Social Live Platform Singing Contest with Total Prize Money of 10 Million Won

‘dalla’ Hosts Social Live Platform Singing Contest with Total Prize Money of 10 Million Won

Social live platform ‘dalla’ announced that it will hold a ‘Platform Battle’ event starting from the 3rd of this month to celebrate its full service renewal.

This ‘Platform Battle,’ where the pride of each service is at stake, will feature a survival-style competition among DJs from the three leading domestic social live platforms: ‘Hakuna Live,’ ‘Spoon Radio,’ and ‘dalla,’ focusing on singer-songwriter and cover song content.

The competition, with a total prize pool of 10 million KRW, will begin on March 3 with ‘dalla’ VS ‘Hakuna,’ followed by the second match on March 8 between ‘dalla’ and ‘Spoon,’ and will conclude with the final championship on March 11 to determine the ultimate winner. The event will be held live within the ‘dalla’ service, allowing audiences to enjoy the premium voices of top DJs from each platform in one place. Since evaluations will be conducted in real time, transparency in the results is also expected.

Although social live platforms are known to be mainly used by the domestic MZ generation, they have been criticized for lacking mass appeal due to their niche fanbase. The ‘Platform Battle’ song competition, the first of its kind attempted by ‘dalla,’ is expected to create a sensation in the live service ecosystem, which has so far only hosted in-house events.

A representative from ‘dalla’ stated, “This event embodies dalla’s unique brand identity and commitment to change in the rapidly evolving MZ generation culture.” They added, “We plan to leverage this as a stepping stone to secure brand loyalty through more advanced technology and planning, enabling users to experience positive changes while using the service.”

Meanwhile, with this renewal, dalla has changed its brand slogan to ‘The real live where you play as yourself, dalla!’ completely removing the previous calm and emotional vibe. The platform plans to implement various policies and events that precisely target the needs of its core MZ generation users. Additionally, to provide users with a fresh experience and new attractions, the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) have been fully revamped, aiming to establish dalla as a popular service that anyone can easily use.

Detailed event information is available on the official ‘dalla’ application, which can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
