"Stop Kim Dae-jung President Election Exploitation"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Former secretaries and administrative officers of the Kim Dae-jung administration's Blue House visited Gwangju to condemn Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party.
On the afternoon of the 24th, they held a press conference at the Citizens Communication Hall of the Gwangju Metropolitan Council, demanding that Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party presidential candidate, stop exploiting former President Kim Dae-jung's election.
They continued, "Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol is neglecting the national governance philosophy of democracy, peace, and national unity upheld by President Kim Dae-jung, while indulging in false agitation by falsely claiming to represent President Kim Dae-jung," and stated, "It is deplorable that Candidate Yoon, who has declared retaliatory investigations denying the value of democracy and is breaking peace on the Korean Peninsula with his preemptive strike theory against the North, is invoking President Kim Dae-jung's name."
They also emphasized, "The secretaries who served closely with President Kim Dae-jung are confident that the candidate who best inherits President Kim's national governance philosophy is Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party."
At the event, eight members representing the former Blue House secretaries of the Kim Dae-jung administration attended, including Kwon Ki-sik, Kim Bong-jun, Kim Jong-seon, Ryu Gyu-seon, Lee Dong-chun, Jang Chang-won, Jang Hong-ho, and Jo Gwang-je.
